For me, there’s a difference between vacation and travel. A vacation is a break from the world. It means lying on a beach, getting cozy in a mountain cabin, or leisurely exploring a small town. Travel is getting to the know the world a little bit better. It’s meeting the locals, trying new foods, and stepping outside your comfort zone.
I’m Kelley and I started Tides and Limes because I believe in both. The joy of sinking into a beach chair with a view and the thrill of discovering a new city or country. My own travels have taken me through the mountains of Banff, the vineyards of Mendoza, the jungles of Costa Rica and Belize, and Oktoberfest in Munich. I travel to feel more connected: to people, to places, and to the stories that make each destination unique.
As a travel advisor based in Washington, DC, I work with travelers who want more than just a trip. They want an experience that feels intentional, seamless, and an experience true to who they are. Every trip begins with a complimentary introductory call – a chance for us to connect, talk through your vision, and ensure we are a great fit before moving forward.
Each itinerary I create is personalized and thoughtfully designed, with attention to your travel style. To ensure every trip receives the time and care it deserves, I charge planning fees based on the complexity of the trip.
Multi-stop international trips typically begin at $350. Simple plans – like a single resort stay or cruise only with clear preferences may require a lower fee. Final pricing is always discussed up front and tailored to your needs.
